Welcome

Welcome to the Rawson & Perrin blog. Here you can find out what we're up to and more information about the things we make.

We might be making split cane fishing rods; traditional style floats such as Avons, Wagglers, Bobbers, Stick floats, landing nets, priests, boxes or anything else!

From time to time we may even fill you in with our own fishing conquests!

We hope you enjoy our blog.

The start of things to come?...

Managed an hour and a half on a stretch of my local syndicate water this afternoon. To my surprise there was very little surface action, however when I began to wade the stretch and prospect with an Olive immitation I managed to rise a few fish.

I finished off with 3 trout and 2 grayling, not big fish but great scrappers and beautifully marked with vivid red spots and white edges to fins. I also pulled out of a few fish, but this is to be sometimes expected with the barbless hooks. Hopefully its a sign of things to come. Heres a few photos from today:

Until next time,
